  1. The summer holidays are the best time to relax and enjoy with family and friends, this is a time I have always been looking forward to waiting for every year. These summer vacations are special for me as it is my first time spending time with my best friends. We had a good time in Vung Tau – the city with the best beaches in Vietnam. We stayed for 2 days in a small but convenient motel.
On the first day, we got up early to watch the sunrise on the beach. It was the brightest thing I have ever seen. After that, we swam and lay on the sand enjoying the beautiful sun and clear blue skies. We also tasted delicious seafood and fresh coconut water. The next day we took about 30 minutes to walk to Little Mountain to visit the lighthouse. But it doesn’t work! The lighthouse offers a panoramic view of Vung Tau city and is a really interesting place.
On top of a small mountain is a huge statue of Jesus, 28 meters high, overlooking the South China Sea. This is the largest sculpture of South Vietnam. The statue’s shoulder is also a series of balconies, each of which can accommodate up to six people, offering stunning views of the surrounding landscape.
The weather during our stay was very lovely and the locals were friendly. We took a lot of photos to preserve this memorable vacation and we also bought a lot of souvenirs. I have a lot of good memories of the whole trip. All good, but what makes the trip even more wonderful is the fact that I have built stronger relationships with my best friends.

Traditional Tet is one of the most important festivals in Vietnam. Just like in Western countries that follow Christianity, Christmas is a sacred and important holiday, and so is the traditional New Year’s Day. Traditional New Year’s Day is called Lunar New Year or Lunar New Year and is considered the most important moment of the year. The time starts on the 1st day of the 1st lunar month of the new year. The Lunar New Year usually falls between the end of January and the middle of February of a calendar year. Normally in Vietnam, on every occasion to prepare for the Lunar New Year, everyone, whether working or going to school, has a holiday schedule. Normally, the time off is from one working week or more (for employees) and two to three days before December 30. To prepare for the important Tet holiday of this year, every family often buys a lot of new things, cleans the house, and prepares a tray of rice to worship ancestors. And yet, on the traditional New Year’s Day, there is also a custom to visit the elderly, family members, friends, and neighbors every time Tet comes. At that time, homeowners or adults will give lucky money to children and elders with wishes at the beginning of the new year of peace, prosperity, and everything as desired. This is not only a custom but also a cultural beauty of the Vietnamese people, to show concern and hope for a full and peaceful life for everyone.

  2. This year, I went to Da Lat city with my family. It took us about 6 hours to go there by train. We visited many well-known tourist attractions in Da Lat, such as the Valley of Love, Truc Lam Zen Monastery, and some waterfalls. Additionally, we went to the local market to try many tasty dishes and buy some souvenirs. After 4 days, we went to our hometown.
