My favorite festival is Tet. Tet is a traditional seasonal holiday in Vietnam. The festival is usually held every year. It is celebrated throughout Vietnam. Tet is organized to celebrate the new year and to dispel bad stories from the past. People often decorate their homes with peach trees or apricot trees. Everyone in the old family was gathered together, having a fun party and watching fireworks.
One of the most significant holidays in Vietnam is Tet, often known as the Lunar New Year holiday. Tet typically takes place towards the end of January or the start of February. Tet holidays often run for 7 to 9 days. Everyone in the family cleans and organizes the house and garden before Tet. Additionally, they utilize parallelism and peach or apricot blooms to adorn the home. Some households celebrate Tet by cooking traditional dishes during the holiday, such as Vietnamese square cake, dried candied fruit, braised pork, etc. Children, in particular, look forward to the Tet holiday because it allows parents to grant them desires for the next year in the form of fortunate money. For all Vietnamese, Tet is an occasion for them to reunite after 12 months working hard outside. That is the time to have family gatherings and welcome the new year with many blessings.
