    – Present simple: S + is/am/are + V-pp + by…

    – Present continuous: S + is/am/are + being V-pp + by…

   – Câu bị động thì HTTD: S + am/is/are + being + VpII + (by + O) + time.

   2. Soccer was played by Nam and his classmates yesterday afternoon.

   – Câu bị động thì QKD: S + was/were + VpII + (by + O) + time.

   3. We are often given gifts by my father. 

   – Câu bị động thì HTD: S + am/is/are + VpII + (by + O) + time.

   – Trạng từ chỉ tần suất (always, often, usually,…) đứng sau tobe 

   4. A big cake is being bought for me on my birthday. 

   – Câu bị động thì HTTD 

   – Với các chủ ngữ câu chủ động là đại từ nhân xưng (I, you, we, they, he, she, it) thì chuyển sang câu bị động có thể ko dùng (by + O)
