  1. Pressures are being placed on kids in this day age, including but not limited to academic, interpersonal and financial problems. These metal burdens originate from arch-factors and several measures can be taken to get to their bottom.

Kids remonstrate about sources of pressure that are hanging over them. Firstly, schoolwork is overwhelming, given continuous tests and extra worksheets, forcing kids, of almost all ages, to make painstaking efforts of they would otherwise fall behind peers, falling to live up to parents and teachers’ expectations. They rarely have time for a respite, which purportedly wreaks havoc on their both mental and physical health, even leading to serious consequences such as autism or suicide. In addition to academic stresses, social pressures are also inevitable in school settings today. Many kids claim that they are faced with bullying in many forms ranging from abusive words physical impacts or isolation all the costs for extra classes, are ever-increasing, depriving kids or a chance to access knowledge and impairing their later careers.

Some solutions can be instigated to handle the situation. First and foremost, it is a sheer necessity that educations recalibrate school programs and expectations so that a kid can develop all round, both physically and mentally. In my fervent belief, pushing too much and tolerating too little, elitism or two-tier systems based on tests in a class should be restricted or even abandoned, distancing kids from overwhelmed academic duties, allowing them to have a happier childhood and a better school life. Secondly, social pressures such as bullying must be soon detected, prevented and punished, and the schools can set this in motion by imposing draconian laws or regulations, establishing a censorship system and a close connection with parents in a quintessential belief that school conflicts will be defused and placated, and kids can experience normal days in a school setting. Last but not least, scholarship, bursaries or other types of financial support should be launched to kids from poor financial backgrounds so that commercial pressures will no longer an arch enemy, obsessing and deterring them from knowledge access.

In conclusion, kids’ pressures emanate from a variety of sources and from my point of view, we should decrease children are experiencing the increasing educational, social and commercial pressures.
