The line graph indicates the proportion of export from four countries in the period of 22 years from 1990 to 2022 .
Overall, it is easy to see that total exports to India and China are rising, which exports from Japan and United States are declining. At the end of the period, China had the highest exports, followed by other countries.
Japan’s figure was significantly higher than other countries, about 25%, but then plummeted to about 20% over the next 5 years to nearly 17% by 2012. It was on a downward trend. In contrast, China’s exports in 1990 were only 3%, but that number was steadily increasing. Number have changed dramatically since 2000, has reached 28% in 2012.
Meanwhile, Australia exported just over 10% its products to the US in 1990, which was around 10 times higher than the export to India. Over the following 22 years, the figure for the US fluctuated and dropped to 5% by 2012. The percentage of exports to India remained unchanged before dropping minimaly to roughly 5% in 2012
