France in 1883. She was a famous
fashion designer. In 1913, she began her
career with a hat shop in Deauville. Then
she quickly added sweaters, skirts and
jewellery to her collection and everyone
wanted to buy her clothes. She also made
perfumes such as Chanel No 5. Chanel
was a very beautiful woman, but she
didnt marry and didnt have any
children. She died in Paris in 1971.
