Not only all Vietnamese but also foreigners want to visit Uncle Ho’s Mausoleum to express one’s deep gratitude and our love towards Him. So this is one of the places that attracts the most visitors in Hanoi. The Ho Chi Minh mausoleum, where preserves the remains of President Ho Chi Minh, is a large memorial as well as a large cultural building. It is located in the centre of Ba Dinh Square, where President Ho Chi Minh read the Declaration of Independence on September 2, 1945, establishing the Democratic Republic of Vietnam. There are about 15.000 people visit the mausoleum every week and more on the holidays, the important anniversaries of Vietnam. We can see the solemnity, the respect and a simple beauty at there. It is a great pride of Hanoi, Vietnam.
