ta chuyển Object của câu thành Subject của câu bị động, vẫn giữ nguyên nghĩa chính, ta được:

– This room was painted every year by us.

2. They began working in this company 5 years ago.

ta chuyển câu thì quá khứ thành câu thì hiện tại hoàn thành tiếp diễn, như sau:

– They have been working at this firm for 5 years.

– They have been employed by this company for 5 years.
ta có thể đổi động từ này với 1 động từ khác cùng nghĩa với nó, danh từ cũng vậy “working = employed (v)” và “firm (N) = company (N)”

3. Let’s help the poor children.

– What about helping poor children?
ta dùng công thức What about/ How about + Ving

4. I find collecting glass bottles interesting.

– I think collecting glass bottles is interesting.

– BĐ thì HTĐ: \text{S + am/is/are + P2 + (by O)}

2. They have worked in this company for 5 years.

-> \text{S + started/began + V-ing/to-V = S + have P2/have been + V-ing }

3. What about helping the poor children?

-> \text{What about + V-ing?}

4. I think collecting is interesting.

-> S + think + V-ing + tobe + adj

5. I spend two hours each day doing my homework.

-> \text{spend + V-ing}
