1. Halloween is a Halloween celebration that takes place on October 31st, and we all know how big it is in Western countries. It is, nevertheless, gaining popularity in Asian countries such as Vietnam. People believed that on the night of October 31st, evil spirits crossed the threshold between the worlds of the living and the dead to enter the world of the living. People were terrified of this, so they dressed up in homemade masks and frightful costumes and decorated their homes with jack-o-lanterns, skulls, and skeletons to hide from the spirits so they wouldn’t hurt them. Furthermore, on Halloween, youngsters will go “trick or treating,” visiting several houses and asking for candy.Overall, the Halloween event brings people together to enjoy a good time.
