Damage to respiratory systems is the most common effect on animals, but other diseases are also common. Acid rain can change the chemistry and quality of soils and water. For example, water bodies can become too acidic for some animals to survive or have normal physiological functions. Plants and crops grow less when exposed to long-term air pollution. I hope that our residents will be aware of how important that take care of our planet’s air.
