  1. in the past, the food that people wat in my country was based on what was locally available and in season. trditional dishes were often simple and made from scratch using fresh, local ingridients. for example, in my country, many traditional dishes were made using cassava, yam, plantain, and a variety of stews and soups made with meat or fish, vegetables, and spices.
however, with the increasing availability of imported goods, globalization, and the rise of convenience foods, people’s diets have become more diverse and less healthy. many people now have access to a wider range of foods and ingridients from all over the world, leading to the fusion of different culinary cultures and the emergence of new dishes and cooking techniques.
moreover, the busy lifestyle of many people has led to a greater demand for convenience and speed in food choices, which has contributed to the popularity of processed and packaged foods. these foods are often high in calories, sugar, fat, àn are generally less healthy than traditional foods.
on the other hand, there is nơ a greater awareness of the importance of eaing a balanced and nutritious diet, and people are paying more attention to their health and wellness. many people are incorrporating more fruits, vegetables, and whole grains into their meals, and there is a growing emphasis on the use of natuaral and organic ingredients.
in summary, the food that people eat in my country has changed significantly over time. while traditional foods still play an impportant role in the cuisine, there has been a shift towards more diverse and globalized tastes, as well as a greater focus on health and nutrition.
