Thuong is my best friend. She just turned 15 years old and her parents threw a birthday party for her. I am one of the invitees. The party started around three in the afternoon. There were about twenty guests gathered in her house. Everyone, especially dear, is very happy. We gave her presents and she happily opened them. Then her mother brought us soft drinks and delicious food. Around four-thirty her father brought out the birthday cake. It is beautifully decorated with pink and white cream. 15 colorful candles placed in the center of the cake. We all sang “Happy Birthday” to our thuong then she blew out the candles and cut the cake. Everyone clapped eagerly. We helped ourselves to cut delicious slices of cake. Then we played some games like “hide and seek” and “hit the cake”.
Finally around six o’clock the party ended. We are all tired but happy. I helped thuong and her parents clean up the mess we made. Hope to see you soon.
