My hometown is very interesting but the most beautiful is still the river When did the river start, I don’t know. It just quietly floated through my countryside like a soft peach silk that someone dropped. On both sides of the banks are cheerful trees as if they are having fun with boats full of fish. Everything is fresh in the spring day. The river always keeps its blue color. But unfortunately, the “green” color of the river is gradually disappearing. Those who act casually dumping human garbage make the river water no longer a clear blue color, but a dark blue color, not from silt but from toxic chemicals pouring in. Then the unconsciousness of people to see the river as a garbage dump. Many dangers due to diseases are waiting for people when they gradually no longer enjoy the fresh water from rivers in the future. I have seen with my own eyes a job of littering people indiscriminately. One afternoon a few weeks ago, I went out with my parents to Ninh Kieu Wharf. After walking for a while, my family rested on a stone bench. In front of my eyes is the gentle Hau River flowing gently, suddenly I see someone’s garbage floating in the river. Near where I sat, there were students standing at the river’s barrier. The brothers and sisters ate, drank, then casually threw their trash into the river and left. Looking at those actions, I feel the river will be very sad. I kept thinking to myself: “There’s a trash can, but why don’t you guys throw it away but throw it away. In addition to those unconscious actions, there are people who also gather to buy and sell at the roadside. Everyone was calling for guests to come in, making me feel that it has ruined the beauty of Ninh Kieu Wharf. I feel the no-trade signs have no command. I wonder what the river will think of these actions?”
This Hau River is like a friend of Can Tho. I love this hometown river
