1. I asked him how often he had visited his grandmother the previous year

   – Cấu trúc câu tường thuật dạng câu hỏi wh-questions : S + asked + O + wh – words + S + V ( lùi thì ) 

   – Đại từ nhân xưng : you -> he 

   – Thì quá khứ đơn -> Thì quá khứ hoàn thành : S + had(not) + V3 

   – Chủ ngữ là ”He” nên đi với tính từ sở hữu ”his”, vậy my -> his
