   + Tính từ : S1 + is / am / are / … + adj-er / more adj + than + S2

   + Trạng từ : S1 + V + adv-er / more adv + than + S2

   * Khi Tính từ / Trạng từ có 1 hoặc 2 âm tiết có tận cùng là y , ow , ta thêm đuôi ” -er ” sau nó

   * Khi Tính từ / Trạng từ có 2 âm tiết trở lên không có tận cùng là y , ow , ta thêm ” more ” trước nó
