Hello friends! I’m Nguyen Quynh Anh, a class 6B – Chuong Xa Middle School student. I have entered a new level of education and feel like I have changed even more as I enter this school year – the year in which I officially became a junior high school student. And I started to mature from my activities in a day.
In the morning, I don’t wait for my mother to call and then lament for a long time like before, I wake myself up at 5:30 thanks to the clock my mother bought me when I was in 6th grade. I brush my teeth, wash my face, Exercise and prepare my breakfast. After breakfast, I put on my new uniform and excitedly go to school at 6:30 on the bicycle that has been with me for 2 years.
In grade 6, our curriculum is no longer the same, we study by period. I usually study for 4 periods in the morning, and after each class, we have a 5-minute break. Because I exercised my body and ate well before going to class, I studied more actively and boldly.
After school, I go home at 10:30. This is also the time when mom has finished preparing lunch for the whole family. I eat with my family, and listen to and share stories of my father, mother, and younger brother. I help my mother wash the dishes and clean the house before lunch break. My father often told the two sisters: that at noon, the children should take a 1-2 hour break, so in the schedule of both sisters, there is an additional line: Lunch break from 12:30 to 13:30.
After a nap, my parents went to work, I woke her up, and my sister and I studied. This is when I review the morning lesson given by the teacher, I also take advantage of teaching her to write and practice reading. When I finished my studies, I often read my favorite stories. On my bookshelf, there is always: Cricket Men’s adventure diary, Sorrow after school; The fate of the drummer boy; courtyard and sky. I don’t feel discouraged because reading is a passion for me. At 5:30 pm, my sister and I washed the dishes and cleaned the house. In the past, my mother used to do this job after eating dinner, I learned and was able to do these jobs to help her less hard. Moreover, last summer vacation, my mother also taught me to cook rice and boil vegetables. Before my mother came back, I also finished those side jobs. Pride and joy appeared on my parents’ faces after work.
I have dinner with my family at 19:30. My sister and I take a break for about 30 minutes after eating to prepare to study. I spend 2 hours in the evening on homework, advanced exercises, and preparing for the next day’s lesson. That study helps me master the knowledge more and always be proactive before going to class.
At 10:30 p.m., I started going to bed, I was always told stories by my mother: fairy tales yes, parables, stories about grandma, about her mother in the past. Thanks to my mom, I sleep better. I ended the day just like that! We will grow up with meaningful activities every day, right?
