   – can (thì HTD) -> could (Thì QKD) + V-inf 

   3. I wondered if I was doing the right thing. 

   – ask myself = wonder: tự hỏi 

   – Thì HTTD (am/is/are + V-ing) -> Thì QKTD (was/were + V-ing) 

   – Câu tường thuật với Yes or No questions

   – Cấu trúc: S + asked (sb)/wondered/wanted to know/… + if/whether + S + V lùi thì
